I understand that facing detailed logistical and administrative tasks can feel more and more tedious as we age.

While I cannot shield my clients and their families from this reality, I have found that bringing presence and a sense of purposeful, grounded collaboration to otherwise wearisome logistical projects can free up a lot of space.

As a trained Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator, and registered professional member of ISMETA (International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association), I bring my expertise in harnessing the power of the natural exchange that occurs between two nervous systems to accomplish a task more easefully than when attempted alone.

I began offering administrative support services to seniors very much by accident 16 years ago in New York City, after graduating from Barnard College, Columbia University, alongside my career as a professional dancer.  A friend sent me to the home of her friend, a celebrated novelist in her 80’s who sought a patient, organized presence to help her sort through a small but stress-inducing stack of paperwork that had accumulated in her office.

Over the years, my administrative role with her evolved as she evolved.  I accompanied her through projects that ranged from helping her prepare her taxes for her accountant, to submitting her short stories for publication through an online portal she found cumbersome, to cataloging her art collection, to collaborating with her to edit her manuscripts as her eyesight deteriorated.  We had a lovely and generative working relationship, and she referred me to all of her friends.

Since then, I have had the privilege of working in-depth for years at a time with six other seniors, most of whom were established artists.  References available upon request.
